Terms of Service

By signing up for or using 81i, you agree to these Terms. If you’re using 81i on behalf of a company, you’re confirming you have the authority to bind that company to these Terms, and “you” refers to that company as well as you personally.

You need an account to use 81i. You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. If you notice any unauthorized use, tell us immediately at support@81i.com.

Business plan accounts require a verifiable company email address. We may suspend an account that provides a personal email address for a Business plan until it’s corrected.

You agree not to use 81i to:

• Generate content that’s illegal, harmful, or infringes someone else’s rights.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell access to the underlying AI providers we route to.
• Circumvent rate limits, usage caps, or the approval-gating on Business workspaces.
• Send spam, malware, or attempt to compromise 81i’s systems or other users’ accounts.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, with notice where practical.

81i routes your requests to third-party AI providers, including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Meta, xAI, Groq, Mistral, Cohere, DeepSeek, Perplexity, Together AI, and Fireworks. Each provider has its own acceptable use policies, and by using 81i, you agree to also follow those, to the extent they apply to the content you generate through our platform.

We choose reputable providers and monitor their reliability, but we don’t control their infrastructure and can’t guarantee any individual provider’s uptime — that’s the entire reason 81i exists as a router across several of them.

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance, in USD, through our payment processor. Prices are shown before you subscribe and may change with 30 days’ notice for existing subscribers.

We also accept manual payments via UPI and bank transfer for customers in regions where card payments aren’t practical — see our Refund Policy for how those are handled.

All paid plans include a 7-day money-back guarantee from the date of charge. Full details, including how to request one, are in our Refund Policy.

81i owns the platform itself — the code, design, and branding. You own the content you input and the outputs you generate through 81i, subject to the underlying AI provider’s own terms on generated content, which we pass through unchanged.

We don’t claim ownership over your conversations, projects, or generated images, and we don’t use them to train any model.

81i is provided “as is.” We work hard to keep routing fast and reliable, but AI outputs can be wrong, and we can’t guarantee any provider in our pool will always be available. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim related to 81i is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We’re not liable for indirect or consequential damages, like lost profits or lost data.

You can cancel your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, and will make reasonable efforts to notify you first unless doing so would create a security risk. If your account is terminated, sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive (like liability limits and IP ownership) will continue to apply.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute that can’t be resolved directly between us will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
